Representative Amy Loudenbeck (R-Clinton) is the Republican Candidate for the 31st Assembly District for the November 6, 2012 general election. 

Amy grew up in suburban Detroit and Chicago, and moved to Wisconsin in 1987 to attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she graduated in 1991 with two undergraduate degrees: Political Science and International Relations. After graduation she stayed in Madison and worked on the Capitol Square until 1995.

In 1996 Amy moved to Lake Geneva and managed environmental and engineering projects in Wisconsin, Illinois and Indiana. She joined the Town of Linn Fire Department in 1997 where she met her husband Matt Loudenbeck. 

Amy and Matt were married at the Black Point Estate on Geneva Lake in 1999.  Matt and Amy maintain strong ties to Walworth County and the Loudenbeck Farm near Zenda which has been in operation for four generations.  Matt and Amy moved to Clinton in 2002. 

Amy started working at the Greater Beloit Chamber of Commerce in January of 2003 as Executive Director of the Business Materials Exchange of Wisconsin.  She was promoted to Government Relations Director in 2005, Vice President in 2007 and Interim President in 2009.

In April of 2010, Amy was elected to the Clinton Town Board of Supervisors.  She was appointed as the Chairman of the Planning and Zoning Committee in 2011.

Amy was elected to the position of State Representative for the 45th Assembly District in November of 2010 and currently serves as the Vice-Chair of the Committee on Tourism, Recreation, and State Properties.  Additionally, she is a member of the Committee on Jobs, Economy, and Small Business and the Committee on Public Health and Public Safety.
